Police Scene 6/25/17: Three Catalytic Converters Stolen on Monroe

900 block of Veirs Mill Road, the complainant reported that she was sexually assaulted by a known subject between 04/02/17-11:00 p.m. and 04/03/17-6:00 a.m. Please note that this incident was not reported to the police until 06/19/16.

Pay attention!

Unit block of Maryland Avenue, while the victim was sitting outside with her headphones on, someone removed her book bag containing a wallet, identification cards, a credit card, a speaker, clothing, a cell phone charger and U. S. currency.

Residential incidents:

700 block of Thompson Dairy Way, someone removed a rocking chair from a front porch between 06/04/17-5:00 p.m. and 06/10/17-9:00 a.m. Please note that this incident was not reported to the police until 06/23/17.

600 block of Nelson Street, someone gained entry by forcing a side door open to a residence between 06/21/17-4:00 p.m. and 06/22/17-4:22 p.m., and removed jewelry.

800 block of Rockville Pike, someone removed an unsecured boat engine that had been left unattended outside in front of a garage door on 06/21/17 between 4:48 a.m. and 4:55 a.m.

Vehicle Incidents:

700 block of Monroe Street, three catalytic converters were removed from three vehicles on 06/13/17 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

600 block of Blossom Drive, someone removed a knife, U.S. currency, and an IPod from two unlocked vehicles between 06/18/17-9:00 p.m. and 06/19/17-6:30 a.m.

100 block of Monroe Street, someone removed a GPS and spare change from a vehicle between 06/19/17-2:00 p.m. and 06/20/17-1:15 p.m.

400 block of Silver Rock Road, someone removed an IPad from an unsecured vehicle between 06/21/17-9:00 p.m. and 06/22/17-9:00 a.m.

Business/Office incidents:

700 block of Rockville Pike, an unknown subject gained entry by forcing a side door open at a business between 06/17/17-8:40 p.m. and 06/18/17-12:00 p.m. Once inside the suspect forced open a safe and removed U.S. currency.

200 block of North Washington Street, the complainant reported that an unknown subject entered the business on 06/19/17 between 8:49 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Due to previous interactions with the suspect in the past, the complainant asked her to leave the business. The suspect became irate and began to act disorderly. The suspect picked up a pair of scissors and pointed them at the complainant. The complainant informed the suspect that he was calling police. The suspect then left the business. The suspect is described as a black female 5’6”, thin build, black hair, brown eyes, floral pants and light colored shirt.

600 block of Jefferson Plaza, the complainant reported that an unknown subject removed an unattended laptop from a conference room on 06/20/17 between 1:45 p.m. and 2:12 p.m. The suspect is described as: B/M, bald/shaven head, dark brown skin tone – Last Seen Wearing: black/white tie, light blue dress shirt, dark blue suit

700 block of Hungerford Drive, the complainant reported that an unknown subject removed an unattended purse containing a wallet, U.S. currency, identification cards, and a set of keys, from a business on 06/23/17 between 3:44 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. A review of the surveillance video describes the suspect as: A/F, 5’0”, 160 pounds, medium build, medium length hair, fair skin tone and wearing light or white colored blouse, glasses.

700 block of 1st Street, an unknown subject gained entry by breaking a front glass door to a business between 06/23/17-10:15 p.m. and 06/24/17-10:30 a.m. Once inside, the unknown subject forced open a cash register and removed the drawer containing U.S. currency.

800 block of Rockville Pike, an unknown subject gained entry by breaking a side window to a business between 06/24/17-10:20 p.m. and 06/25/17-9:00 a.m. Once inside, the unknown subject removed U.S. currency from a cash register.

ARRESTS

On 06/19/17 between 12:43 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., a female, age 23, was arrested for two counts of second degree assault on a police officer, obstructing and hindering a police investigation, resisting arrest, and possession of CDS-heroin, following an incident that occurred in the 200 block of West Gude Drive.

On 06/20/17 at 10:14 p.m., a male, age 22, was arrested for possession of CDS-heroin and possession of CDS paraphernalia, following an incident that occurred in the unit block of Waddington Lane.

On 06/20/17 between 9:03 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., a female, age 35, was arrested for theft, second degree assault on a police officer, and disorderly conduct, following an incident that occurred in 300 block of Hungerford Drive.

On 06/21/17 at 12:45 a.m., a male, age 25, was arrested for trespassing, following an incident that occurred in the unit block of Maryland Avenue.

On 06/21/17 between 2:20 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., a female, age 18, was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing and hindering a police investigation, and failure to identify oneself to a police officer, following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Fallsgrove Boulevard.

On 06/21/17 between 8:50 p.m. and 9:03 p.m., a male, age 20, was arrested for second degree assault, trespassing, malicious destruction of property, and theft, following an incident that occurred in the 13200 block of Atlantic Avenue.
